I am majoring in social work, and I'm just wondering how many hours a week on average do social workers work.

I'm not putting the downer on them; I have met both good and bad social workers. The problem is that they tend to play an adversarial role against parents at the same time they do something to be helpful. It's very confusing.

I want to know what the qualities of social workers usually are and what they do exactly.

I'm thinking about moving to miami, and i live currently in Montreal. I am a social worker, working in a youth shelter and would like to know what type of jobs the social workers in the US get to do.
